Mess for Success: How to Bring More Sensory Play Into Your Program

I'm neat and organized by nature which means that mess can be personally triggering. It takes conscious effort for me to LET GO of messes, at least in the moment when children are deeply engaged in their ideas and playing out different scenarios.


As a play-based and developmental educator I've come to value that mess is a part of the creative process and is essential for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our young hands-on learners.
